“On-Site” searches of records require a minimum of “5 Hours of search time” at $50.00 an hour which is paid as a retainer fee of $250.00 “prior to the search”. This gives the customer an opportunity for searching of “multiple records” within the 5 hour minimum search time. *Additional expenses such as mileage ($0.50 per mile), photocopying, postage, and lodging (if overnight stay is needed) will be explained upon contact for services requested. Expenses usually do not exceed $25.00 for searches near Detroit and anything above $25.00 will be discussed upon request for research services. Payment of additional expenses mentioned above (for “on-site” research services only) will need to be made when the research is completed and before your requested records will be mailed. Please allow up to three weeks.
