Graduate of Michigan State University and Professional Genealogist, Historian, Author, Speaker and Consultant with over 32 years of experience specializing in the "Great Lakes Area of North America". David assisted in contributing material for the book "Pioneering Michigan" by Eric Freedman and was featured in the Detroit News as part of "Michigan's 150 th Anniversary in 1987" with a story on his early Michigan Pioneer ancestor Charles Callow. He is also a guest speaker at numerous events including his slideshow presentation "Native American Lore of the Detroit Area, 1701-1842" which was put on at the prestigious "Cranbrook Institute of Science" auditorium in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. He has written articles for Traverse Magazine as well as the Oakland Gazette of the Oakland County Pioneer and Historical Society of which he is a member.
